Connection issues....

They just started connecting the rooms with WiFi so I guess I should realize there are going to be many problems. This is Cuba! We all have to endure.....

Last night I was exhausted. I went to the room looking to take a little rest and then make my way back downstairs to hang out. I turned the TV on and caught some of the Met game then I dozed off... I work up and it was midnight. Still enough time to cause some chaos but I thought I would take it easy my first night.

Saturday morning, way too early but then that's me, always up way too early. I blog some, got into a good book and just hung in the room until 8am for breakfast call. I open my curtains at took a sunrise photo from my room.....just beautiful! Not my photography but a view I couldn't even ruin.

I needed to get to the business office early to get credited for last night no WiFi. However, when I got there they told me it would not be ready until this afternoon. Oh well. I went back to the room to get all my stuff and plan my morning sightseeing. By 12pm it is much to hot to be walking around. I also need to be conservative in my walking because of the tendinitis in my ankle. Surprising and happily it has not been nothing me -----too much. I seem to have gotten back to my normal gimpy gait.

I left the hotel to catch a cab when an amazing vintage '57 Convertible Ford Fairlane in blue and white body, with baby blue and white leather seats caught my attention. I waiting about 15 minutes for the guy to come back and booked a deal with him to drive me around tomorrow or Monday for a few hours. We shook hands and he gave me his card and said his name is Mario. Nice gorgeous looking car. One of the things are look so forward to coming back is because of these Vintage cars. I am going to attempt to post some photos now and will finish up the day in another post. Sometimes too much information and the post does not make it through the Internet.

What I wake up to in the morning.

Yep, that's my ride.
