Out of the Revolution Business and onto the business of....

After that, I needed a drink. I walked down a few blocks to the Plaza Hotel. One of the nicer hotels. The lobby and fuchsia shade and cream felt calming as I got out of the Havana heat and walked to the bar. I ordered one of their signature cocktails a rainbow Piña Colada. All I will say is the Plaza makes a good drink. At the plaza, I was informed that the Capitol building was closed to tours, oh well.

Finishing up my booze, I walked over to the gift shop. I picked up some stamps, and nice postcards. I realize as I was walking around the shop what I was rushing to, so I went back to the bar, sat down in a comfortable chair and had another rainbow.

I stumbled, nah just teasing walked out into the hot sun toward O'Reilly street. Walking down the guidebook informed me that this was considered "little Wall Street" as many important architects designed building on this street. The most impressive was the original Citibank of NY. Although, it was not called Citibank but Bank of New York City.

Warning to Bill!!!!!!!
The noticed more hustlers this time constantly wanting to sell me shit. Some with more skill at least engage in pleasant conversation first then try and close you. As long as you keep walking they fall away. I tell them no habla Spanish, they say speak English, I say no, Italiano, no just Chinese.

Just strolling I decide it is time for some food. I make my way toward the water which is a few blocks and eat at El Tempete a seafood restaurant. I had a snapper sautéed in olive oil and mushrooms and peppers. Food was fresh and delicious. I like to stick to seafood when I am on an island. Wonderful meal and a good go back to place.
